Week 9
November 5-6
This marks the last weekend for the Fall 2016 season, and the Huskies finished strong!

At the Sister Esther Open at Salve, our good looking squad, also known as Jackson Hamilton, Jackie Berlin, Elise Gehling, and Laura Tschiegg, faced some of the biggest breeze we have seen all season. It was also reported that at one point, the sailors were also racing in hail. Weather was obviously brutal and the competition was tough, but both teams performed extremely well and Northeastern finished 9th overall! Extra congratulations to Elise and Laura for wrapping up their final season with us on the team. Best of luck on your future endeavors, ladies!

Coleen Ross, Carolyn Corbet, Romain Astie, and Jules Mozzer put in work at the No Ringer at BU! The breeze was light and both pairs have never sailed in a regatta together before. However, the Huskies hung around midfleet and also ended with a top 10 finish!

Last but not least, CREW REGATTA hosted by yours truly! There were only 3 races for each fleet, but this didn't stop John Hughes and Donal Ryan from having an amazing regatta! John and Donal finished fourth in their division. Becker Ewing and Zach Bresnick also performed extremely well, and this was their first regatta sailing together! This pair finished strong in about midfleet. Awesome job guys!

The last regatta we have scheduled for this season is the DARK OF NIGHT AT TUFTS! In the likely chance that there will be no report, the team would like to thank you in advance for following us and for showing all of your support! Go Huskies!!!
