In 2023 we launched an Alumni and end of season Banquet for the team. We wanted to reconnect to our alum and show off the progression of the team.

On May 13th 2023 we had our first Alumni and end of season Banquet. It featured catered dinner, speeches from current sailors, and a Auction. The team raised over $1000 and reconnected with lots of alumni. 

​

 In Fall 2023 we held the dinner on the Saturday evening of the Oberg trophy, October 21st. This was a platted dinner with a cocktail party and appetizers beforehand. A chance for alumni to catch up, and for current sailors to get to know our string alumni base. We ran the dinner in conjunction with a fundraiser that raised more than $10,000 for the team!! We are going to continue running this event every year on the Saturday night if fall Oberg, so be ready for the next one!
