Week 10

For the final weekend of our season, the Huskies traveled to Dartmouth for the New England Dinghy Championship, Tufts for the Mendum's Pond Invite, and Rhode Island for the Southern 7 Regatta.
Tori McGruer, Laura Tschiegg, Sarah de Silva, Kurran Singh, and Jackie Berlin sailed the New England Dinghy Championship this weekend. The conditions were very rough, wiht no races finished the first day and only four on the second due to light wind. Despite the tough competition, the team was able to get a few good races in but were unfortunately not able to be as consistent as they would have liked.
Mendum's Pond Invite was sailed by Chris Colbeth, Caitlin Cloonan, Will Manning, and Sandra Nygren. It was a quick single day regatta at Tufts, with a decent finish for the end of the season.
Sailing in Rhode Island this weekend was Carter Rose, Annie Wieland, Donal Ryan, and Rachel Guard. With much more consistent breeze in Rhode Island, they were able to get a good long weekend of racing in. The team had a good showing, finishing the event in sixth.
