This weekend the Huskies competed in their first event, the Vietor, of a long delayed spring season at the Coast Guard Academy. Sarah de Silva and Emily Arntsen sailing in their first college regatta raced to an impressive fourth place finish in B Division along with fellow freshman Jackson Hamilton and Jackie Berlin. Scott Goodrich and Katie Alfond sailed in A Division.
The Huskies finished 12th overall out of 20 teams at the event. Snow and overcast conditions gave way to a sunnier afternoon with light breeze on Saturday, while dangerous gusts meant no racing on Sunday.
